Diane Doerr – Office Manager I started at the Rockledge Vet Clinic as a technician 10 years ago and am now the office manager. I am also a hairstylist and real estate agent. On the home front 5 cats and 2 dogs keep me busy. My husband Dave also pitches in at the clinic when we need a repair done. My hobbies include golf, bird watching and spending time with our beautiful grandchildren.

The doctors’ and staff have great respect for each other and our team works well together. Working in our new facility creates an exciting plac
e to be.

Kathy Genuardi – Client Relations Manager  “Oh, you’re the one with the pit bulls aren’t you?” That is usually how clients first remember Kathy … and she is. For 23 years she has owned, loved, bred,
and competed in weight pulls and conformation shows with her champion American Pit bull Terriers. What most people don’t know is that she started her “show career” with Netherland Dwarf rabbits in her teens, has shown her pet rats and also competed in terrier trials with her “little dog” Maggie. As a former Human Resource Manager, and business owner with a strong background in sales, she brings a unique combination of understanding and true affection for not only our four footed clients, but the “pet parent” as well. She currently shares her home with two dogs, Gabrielle
and Katie and four cats, Baby the oldster at 16+, Caruso, Sadie and Christopher.

I came to the Rockledge clinic to help peoples’ pets – I stay because of the people – the friends I have made, be they clients or coworkers. They have all become very importa
nt to me.

Margo Marzucco – Receptionist “Hi it’s Margo from Anmuth” – that‘s how we first became familiar with Margo.

Dr. Rubin has known me since 1992, when she was working with
Dr. Donna Rapp. When Rockledge Veterinary Clinic moved into the new building, it was her chance to ‘steal me’. The rest, as they say, is history. Margo is the proud parent of two rescued pets, Rez, the cutest dog in the world and Samantha, a black and white long haired kitty who prances thru the living room like a princess. When not greeting our clients with her big smile, she likes to head to Ocean City with her husband Nick. She has many family get-togethers that include her daughters Gina and Nicole, son Tony and grand pets Nala and Shenzi.

I’ve enjoyed working with people and their pets for a number of years, and the clients at Rockledge are wonderful. My coworkers get along and have become friends … and best of all I get to work with my best friend
Donna.

Angela Wurster – Receptionist Angela has been one of our receptionists since 2004 after being a long time client. Before working at the clinic she was a nanny and worked in retail for several years. She still works as a travel agent at her family-
owned agency and travels often, New York City being a favorite destination, especially for the bus trips she runs just to tour their many chocolate shops. Angela lives close by with her boyfriend,
Jim, and 4 beautiful cats, Little Guy, Oliver, Hope and Luna, so named because she was born in Italy.

I’ve worked for many years and I find that besides the obvious
(I live two blocks away) the work environment is wonderful, warm yet professional and organized
. Everyone here is a friend.

Liz LyonsVeterinary Technician I graduated from Delaware Valley College with a degree in Small Animal Science. After several years working in an emergency practice, I joined the Rockledge Vet Clinic staff in 2004. When not at work, I can be found at home spending time with my 7 cats and 3 dogs. I also enjoy reading, playing pool, softball, going to Disney World and hanging out by my pool!

All of the staff is caring and compassionate and the animals get excellent care
.

Mary Quinto – Veterinary Technician Mary is a licensed graduate of Harcum College’s Veterinary Technician program. With more than two decades of working experience, she enjoys the many aspects of veterinary nursing care. The best times are spent with family and friends gathered around. The family pets include one dog, a guinea pig, a turtle and several chickens.

The staff at RVC is truly a caring family. It goes beyond medicine for the pet and reaches to help the client be the best caregiver possible.

Rosemary DiStefano – Veterinary Assistant After 20 years in corporate America, Rosemary decided to follow her life-long passion for animals and opened a small pet-sitting service in 2000. In 2004 she founded Faith’s Hope, a special-needs dog rescue. That same year she joined the staff at Rockledge Vet Clinic on a part-time basis, caring for the boarding and resident kitties. Rosemary shares her home with her dogs and a couple
of birds.

I no longer have a cat at home and coming in to see Rocky and Gert every day makes my day a little brighter. My coworkers have also become my friends and we can all use a couple more of those in our lives
.

Donna PalubaReceptionist/Veterinary Assistant Although she
is currently working part time, Donna started working with
Dr. Rubin as the full time technician/receptionist/kennel attendant in 1997, when the practice was in its infancy. She took a brief sabbatical to work at her family’s printing company and rejoined the practice in 2005. On her off days she and her husband of
34 years, John, enjoy antiquing and taking their granddaughter Celina to the shore. She has two handsome sons, Bob and Matt and currently shares her home with her shepherd mix Spike, and the kitties Russell and Stewie.

Everyone here genuinely cares for the well being of the animals. Everyone has a nice attitude and work well together.

Ann MerkelVeterinary Assistant I was an educator at the Insectarium for four years and a 4-H leader for many years. In the 4-H club, I taught children how to train, groom, judge, and show swine. I have an Associate's Degree in biology, which seems to be a common thread in our family. My husband,
George, and my daughters, Erin and Carrie, both studied biology. My dog, Piper, and my four ferrets decided to major in playing silly games, instead. Our parakeets are not the scholarly type.

I enjoy working with animals, especially in such a warm and caring environment. My co-workers are great too.

Molly DuffyVeterinary Technician I joined the Rockledge staff
in August of 2007. I have been working with animals since I graduated from high school and started working at a kennel in 1995. From there, I moved on to Cherry Hill Animal Hospital where I worked for 9 years, eventually becoming a Veterinary Technician.

I grew up in Cinnaminson, New Jersey and have had a diverse ensemble of pets. My very first pet, a hamster was followed by
a rabbit and a Golden Retriever that was with me for 14 years. Currently my family of pets are 2 rescued cats from Cherry Hill Animal Hospital.

Debra Politz – Veterinary Technician Debra graduated from Manor College with an associates degree in Veterinary Technology. She has been in the veterinary field for 9 years and has had long-term experience in surgical and emergency veterinary medicine. She has a very compassionate heart and works well with others. She worked as a head technician at the Rockledge Veterinary Clinic for 3 years. She enjoys spending her spare time with her husband David, her spunky 3-year-old Benjamin, her new baby Zachary, her 9-year-old dog Spanky and a 55-gallon fresh water fish tank.

Not only does the staff work together as a team, but everyone is as close knit as a family, which makes the working environment comfortable and less stressful.
