Micro chipping

Micro chipping our pets has become a very popular method of identification in case he/she becomes lost. Most veterinary hospitals and animal shelters have electronic scanners for detecting and reading micro chips.

Each micro chip has a unique number. This number, along with the owner’s contact information and description of the pet are added to a national pet registry. This makes it very easy to identify a lost pet so they can be reunited with their human family.

The micro chip is a tiny electronic device, about the size and shape of a grain of rice. It is implanted beneath your pet's skin between the shoulder blades, and stays there for his/her entire life. This procedure is as easy and painless
as a vaccination.

We use Home Again micro chips.
