Medications and other products for your pet
We stock a wide selection of pet care products to support your companion’s health.
For your convenience, we can dispense a comprehensive, cost-effective assortment of veterinary pharmaceuticals when your pet is ill. We are able to dispense most of the medicines that may be necessary to bring your pet back to health. We also carry preventive medications for parasite and heartworm prevention as well as a wide selection of natural products and nutraceuticals. We obtain the products we dispense from safe, reliable sources and store them under optimal conditions. We carry generic brands of many medications, enabling us to dispense these medicines at an affordable cost.

What to expect
When your pet is ill, your veterinarian will discuss medication options and help you make the best choice for your pet. Most of the time we can send you home with the medicine you need. We will provide you with dosing information, alert you to any potential side effects and can also teach you how to administer the medication, if necessary. If you need a refill on a regular prescription, simply call us. We can usually provide same-day service.
If we do not stock the medication, we can fax a prescription to a pharmacy that carries the product, or we can call your regular pharmacist to dispense the medication. We prescribe many medications that are “human” drugs, which therefore may be available at your local pharmacy.
Sometimes it can be difficult to administer certain medications. We can work with local compounding pharmacies to obtain medications in forms that may be easier to administer and to obtain difficult-to-find medications.
