Meet the team

Diane Doerr, Office Manager

“Rockledge Veterinary Clinic is a great place to work, and we have acquired a very compassionate team over the years.”

  • Started at Rockledge Veterinary Clinic in 1997 as a receptionist
  • Studied Veterinary Technology at Manor College
  • Still helps out at the front desk and the exam room
  • Is also a hairstylist and real estate agent
  • Her husband, Dave, is the clinic handyman
  • Enjoys bird watching and spending time with her grandchildren
  • Has four cats and three dogs—all rescues

Kathy Genuardi, Client Relations Manager

“I came to Rockledge Veterinary Clinic to help peoples’ pets. The friends I have made, be they clients or coworkers, have also become very important to me.”

  • Has owned, loved, bred and successfully competed with American Pit Bull Terriers since 1985 in conformation, weight pull and lure coursing
  • Started her show career with Netherland Dwarf rabbits and has also shown her pet rets
  • Competed in terrier trials and events with her Patterdale terrier, Mad Maggie The Cat
  • Business background in human resource management, licensed insurance agent and business owner with strong emphasis on sales
  • Special interest in pet nutrition, physical conditioning and rehabilitation, and geriatric care
  • Currently lives with her American Pit Bull Carmen, who works at the clinic on Fridays and Layla, a fomer RVC rescue

Margo Marzucco, Receptionist

  • Has known Dr. Rubin since 1992
  • Has worked at Rockledge Veterinary Clinic since 2005
  • Enjoys spending time in Ocean City and hosting family get-togethers
  • Has two rescue pets—a dog and a cat—and two “grand pets”

Sherry Justus, Receptionist

  • Has worked in wildlife rescue and rehabilitation and for a feral cat organization
  • Is retired from a career with the National Park Service
  • Loves her two senior cats
  • Experienced fine art photographer

Liz Lyons, Veterinary Technician

  • At Rockledge Veterinary Clinic since 2004
  • Earned a degree in Small Animal Science from Delaware Valley College
  • Her dog Eli is a certified therapy dog with Comfort Caring Canines
  • Has six cats and three dogs, all rescued from Faith’s Hope 
  • Enjoys reading, softball, Disney World and hanging by the pool

Debra Politz, Veterinary Technician

  • Earned a degree in Veterinary Technology from Manor College
  • Has extensive experience in surgical and emergency veterinary medicine
  • At Rockledge Veterinary Clinic since 2002
  • Maintains a 55-gallon freshwater fish tank

Ann Merkel, Veterinary Assistant

  • Grew up in rural York County with dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, gerbils, rats, mice, turtles and the occasional rescued wildlife
  • Has also owned parakeets and ferrets
  • Worked with cattle, sheep and pigs as a 4-H mom

Mary Quinto, Veterinary Technician

  • Is a licensed graduate of Veterinary Technician program at Harcum College
  • More than two decades of experience in veterinary nursing care

  • Has a dog, a guinea pig, a turtle and several chickens

Sarah Wolf, Veterinary Technician

  • Interned at Rockledge Veterinary Clinic

  • Has had cats, birds and reptiles

  • Is a mother of a five year old little boy and has two fur babies.
